A Brazilian-American engineer is crafting an electric vehicle out of his garage that he says will eventually be fully autonomous as well as one of the safest vehicles on the road. Paulo Camasmie is building an EV called the Atticus Robocar, and he said a limited number will be available for sale for about $25,000 by the end of the decade. And that’s battery included.
Judging by a two-minute video posted by the company, a prototype of the car has an erector-set look and can be summoned from the garage to the driveway via voice activation. Other Siri-for-the-active-set voice-control features include activating a roof rack and a bike rack. The car will also have falcon-winged doors a la the Tesla Model X.
