Charlie Burness, from London, was contacted by KFC last month who asked her to promote her four-year-old tweet slamming its fries, to help spread the word of their newly revamped chips (seen below)

KFC took to Twitter over the weekend to confirm it had released a new type of fries to their UK chains, describing them as 'chunkier with skin still attached'. 'You told us no one liked our fries. So new ones are coming soon. Yours sincerely, KFC', they confirmed this week

Their tweet has already received 3,500 favourites, almost a thousand retweets and hundreds of comments from excited fans praising the move.

Good work guys! One fan replied, with KFC joking that they'd be nothing without him, and him responding that he'd be 'hungry without them'

One fan revealed he had already tried the 'skin-on' ones, while another customer prayed that they would be crispy and hot
