After being originally left out, fan-favorite M’Baku has been added to BossLogic’s Avengers: Infinity War ‘Last Supper’ fan art. With so many characters set to appear in Infinity War, the marketing for the movie so far has naturally had to leave some people out. Even with the new Avengers: Infinity War trailer giving more screen time to the likes of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a number of characters still haven’t appeared in footage from the film. And it doesn’t end there.
Fans have been wondering where exactly Hawkeye is during Infinity War, as he’s yet to appear in the teaser, trailer, or TV spots. Even the official Avengers: Infinity War poster leaves out the Avenging Archer. Of course, he’s not alone, as we’ve yet to see Nebula, Valkyrie, Korg, and others in the film’s marketing. We know that they will appear in the actual movie, however, so mostly we can chalk it up to limited space in terms of the film’s promotion. But even when fans dictate the marketing of the film, not everyone necessarily makes the cut.
This weekend, artist BossLogic released a Last Supper-themed Avengers: Infinity War poster riffing on the shawarma post-credits scene from the original Avengers. Nearly every major character from Infinity War was featured in the artwork, but fans were disappointed by the absence of M’Baku. Now, BossLogic has revealed his whereabouts:

Though M’Baku will be in Avengers: Infinity War, he will presumably have a small part to play. As such, it’s not surprising that he wasn’t worked into the already-crowded poster. All the same, the play on his vegetarian line from Black Panther is a fun way for BossLogic to include him while the other heroes are enjoying the meaty meal here. There are even some nods to Daredevil and Deadpool thrown in, for good measure.
Of course, the official marketing for Infinity War hasn’t featured much M’Baku either. He can be seen in the first teaser behind Black Panther and the Dora Milaje, but it’s doubtful he will have much to do other than drop a few funny lines. The film will be a crowded one, but the entire third act will be set in Wakanda. So, while the film naturally won’t have much time for a supporting character, expect M’Baku to steal the spotlight once or twice – especially as Winston Duke has been doing his best to hype the film.
Unlike M’Baku, some of the other stars of Black Panther will have more prominent roles. Okoye will be skeptical of the Avengers when they show up in Wakanda, which could be an issue as they will certainly need her combat expertise. Meanwhile, Shuri’s tech skills will surely be an asset to the assembled heroes. We don’t know how much more of Black Panther‘s supporting cast will appear, but M’Baku probably won’t be the only other one from the hit film to make an appearance during Avengers: Infinity War.
