TV detective Laurence Fox, 39, gave new meaning to ‘falling head over heels’ after he dislocated his shoulder while skiing on his first romantic break with new love Lilah Parsons.
The couple were snapped canoodling at Heathrow en route to France, but within days of arriving at Courchevel their holiday was blighted when the Lewis star had a nasty fall and had to be carted off by emergency crews on a motorised sled.
Posting a message on social media the actor said: ‘It started so well then there was a tumble, then there was a sore bit. Dislocation is an acquired taste.’
Luckily the mishap didn’t affect his drinking arm and — pride restored — Fox was able to enjoy a glass of beer in the sun, while nursing his left arm in a sling.

Sir Michael Caine says he will not work with Woody Allen again if sex abuse allegations against him turn out to be true.
Caine introduced Allen to his future partner Mia Farrow in 1979 and also won his first Oscar for his role in Allen’s 1986 film Hannah and Her Sisters.
Allen and Farrow split up in 1992 after she learnt of his affair with her adopted daughter Soon-Yi and it was later alleged he had molested their seven-year-old adopted daughter Dylan.
‘Would I work with Woody Allen again?’ says Sir Michael, 84.
‘I see that he’s been accused of child abuse. If that is true, I wouldn’t. No.
‘But I mean, I read it — but there doesn’t seem to be any trials or anything. For me, the greatest crime in the world is child abuse.’
West Ham’s Lady Brady announces new signing
Apprentice star and West Ham boss Karren Brady has added another string to her bow.
Baroness Brady of Knightsbridge, as she has been known since David Cameron handed her a peerage in 2014, has completed a lengthy course in deaf sign language.
‘I’m very excited because I’m due to take my qualifying exam soon,’ she revealed at Badoo’s International Women’s Day lunch in Soho. ‘I want to help deaf representatives who sit on our football club’s disabled advisory panel.
‘It’s the thing I’m most proud of right now and was hard to learn. ’
The entrepreneur is currently making three new TV programmes.
‘I’m just filming the new Apprentice, a new documentary on start-ups and another on the gender pay gap. I don’t want to be a tv star, these are just things I care about.’
