If you thought that story of the golden retriever giving birth to a green puppy was cool, you’re going to dig this story of white giraffes being caught on film for the first time ever.
Two giraffes with a rare genetic condition called leucism, a condition which makes their fur white, were actually spotted and filmed for the first time ever in Kenya. The condition results in a lack of pigmentation skin cells, scales, fur and feathers, and makes animals who have the condition appear white.
The video was taken by the people at Hirola Conservation Program after they were tipped off by locals. Take a look at the awesome video below to see these two giraffes.
