Charlene Blugher, 29, from Worcester, Worcestershire, Blugher, 29, from Worcester felt like an 'outcast' after falling out with her family when she refused an arranged marriage aged 18. She continued to work  in marketing but decided to learn to to wrestle in the evenings and quickly proved to be a natural. Above, Charlene with her Coventry Pro Wrestling title belt

The amateur wrestler has since found acceptance in the wrestling ring and is able to hold her own against the 6ft men she's often pitched against

Charlene was a semi-professional footballer before an achilles tendon injury put an end to her career

The aspiring wrestler quit her job in marketing to become a delivery driver in order to spend more time on her wrestling

Normally shy, Charlene become fierce and fiery as 'Athena Furie' - her wrestler name

The 29-year-old amateur wrestler travels all over the country to perform in wrestling shows

Since achieving her childhood dream, Charlene is often pitched against men which she prefers as they are able to take 'more of a pounding'

Charlene has been a mainstay of the UK wrestling circuit for four years now

Charlene's mum Sandie is now supportive of her daughter's decision to wrestle and of her being gay

Charlene  came out as lesbian three years after refusing an arranged marriage by her parents
